This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data.

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it to us, primarily through our contact form. This may include:

- Project type and technical details you choose to share
We do not collect sensitive personal information. We use a single strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie preferences, and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics as described in section 6 below.

We use your personal information solely to:

- Provide product information or quotations you have requested
- Contact you regarding your wastewater treatment project
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security
Your personal information is transmitted securely via encrypted HTTPS. Contact form submissions are sent directly to our team via email and are not stored in a database. We retain correspondence for a reasonable period as required by law and business necessity, after which it is securely deleted.
6. Cookies, Analytics & Third-Party Services
Our website is hosted on Vercel, and contact form emails are sent via Resend (a transactional email provider). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
Strictly necessary cookie. We store a single first-party cookie (aqn_consent) to remember your analytics preference. It contains no personal data and requires no consent under POPIA or the GDPR.
Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and how it performs. These tools are cookieless, do not track you across other websites, and do not collect personally identifiable information. We rely on our legitimate interest (POPIA) in maintaining and improving our website. Analytics is enabled by default but is entirely optional.
Your choice / withdrawal. You can opt out of analytics at any time by selecting "Opt out of analytics" in the cookie banner, or via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. Opting out takes effect immediately and is remembered on your device. We do not use any advertising trackers.
If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK and would prefer analytics not to run prior to your explicit opt-in, simply select "Opt out of analytics" on your first visit.
